- Full-time, two-year fixed term contract until April 2028
- Lead end-to-end design and delivery of MAP Masterclasses (short courses), policy dialogues and related learning activities, ensuring high quality and alignment with program objectives.
- Manage participant mobilisation and selection processes, including promotion, applications management, nominations, participant communication and acceptance procedures.
- Oversee all event logistics (venues, travel, accommodation, accessibility supports, catering, timelines and on-site coordination) to ensure smooth implementation.
- Supervise and coach the Program Coordinator and Short Course Specialist; coordinate workload and quality assurance for learning materials and event outputs.
- Coordinate with the Leadership and Skills Team Leader on financial planning and management for short courses (forecasts, expenditure monitoring and addressing underspends).
- Work with MEL colleagues to design and implement participant feedback, post-event evaluations, success-story collection and reporting that support adaptive program management.
- Produce and contribute to MEL outputs and post-event briefs (summary reports, learning notes, recommendations) for DFAT, partners and internal use.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with DFAT (Mekong Hub and Posts), implementing partners, education providers, alumni networks and regional stakeholders to support program delivery and sustainability.
- Lead proactive risk identification and management for events and learning activities in consultation with the Team Leader and relevant MAP SU leads.
- Ensure all activities meet DFAT and Tetra Tech standards for safeguarding, child protection, PSEAH, fraud prevention and Work Health & Safety.
- Integrate Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) principles into the design and delivery of all learning activities to maximise accessibility and impact.
- Represent the MAP SU and Leadership & Skills program at external meetings, events and masterclasses as required.
- Tertiary qualification in international development, education, event/ program management, public administration, or related field.
- Minimum five years’ experience managing training programs, short courses, alumni activities or capacity-building events in a development or government context.
- Demonstrated understanding of DFAT program delivery standards, risk management and safeguarding requirements (including child protection and PSEAH).
- Experience working in Southeast Asia, preferably the Mekong subregion (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam), is highly desirable.
- Strong program and events management skills, including planning, procurement, logistics coordination and vendor management.
- Proven ability to manage participant mobilisation systems and event administration (applications, registrations, communications).
- Well-developed stakeholder engagement and partnership management skills across government, education providers, alumni and delivery partners.
- Experience using monitoring and evaluation (MEL) approaches for learning events, including designing participant feedback and post-event reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Thai and English; ability to translate technical content into accessible formats for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and common event/registration and survey platforms (e.g., SurveyMonkey or similar).
- Strong organisational attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight timeframes.
- Collaborative, culturally sensitive and able to work effectively in multi-national teams and across borders.
- Solution-focused, adaptable and resilient in dynamic program environments.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusivity, ethical conduct and upholding DFAT/Tetra Tech values and safeguarding standards.
- Willingness to travel regionally as required for event delivery and stakeholder engagement.
