- Answer guest questions regarding the origin, vintage, and style of various wines.
- Prepare drink orders according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
- Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles professionally.
- Communicate last call at designated closing time and ensure smooth closing procedures.
- Check quality and quantity of all stock and supplies; requisition as needed.
- Perform bottle-for-bottle liquor restock and anticipate replenishment needs promptly.
- Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas at all times.
- Count bank at end of shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, and secure bank.
- Obtain change required for expected business levels and maintain security of funds.
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and motivating employees.
- Serve as a role model and ensure staff works together as a team to achieve service goals.
- Follow all company policies, safety, and security procedures; report accidents and unsafe conditions.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and address service needs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Navigate narrow spaces, stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces safely.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
