This includes developing policies, grant management, ongoing projects and other income, and all office expenses related to the project’s activities. The Finance Manager oversees the finance team and reports to the Head of Operations.Duties and Responsibilities:Finance and Accounting:

Supervising and checking all finance documents to ensure they align with MO’s Finance Policy.
Reporting financial statements for all projects, including communication with donors for budgeting and questionnaires.
Managing tax calculations for both Thailand and Myanmar.
Overseeing grant management and consultancy project contracts of MO.
Developing and updating the organizational finance manual, policies, and relevant financial forms.
Preparation of bimonthly/quarterly financial reports, distribution, and consultancy reports.
Supervising and managing the payment process and accounting issues.
Physically checking the cash count daily with FO/weekly with MD.
Petty cash management with the admin department.
Presenting relevant internal finance policy orientation to new employees.
Contributing to the advance process and financial reporting process, tracking the progress of each activity.
Budget allocation for departmental project implementation.
Coordinating with budget holders for budget allocation if needed.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, tax regulations, and reporting standards.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Management and Leadership:

Cooperation with HR for the departmental hiring process.
Provide strategic financial advice to the Leadership team.
Collaborate with HR and the Head of Operations in financial and legal compliance.
Provide updates on the financial status of the movement, including key challenges and opportunities.
Encourage a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence in financial management.

Qualifications and Experiences:

Minimum a Bachelor degree, preferably holding a Masters’ degree and/or have equivalent relevant professional experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to interpret complex with financial data
Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis.
Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and financial reporting standards.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multicultural teams and communicate financial insights to stakeholders.
Knowledge of local tax regulations and of Thai non-profit law as it relates to financial management.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial accounting/bookkeeping software
Fluency in written and spoken for both Thai and English
