- Provide helpdesk support, resolving first-level user issues and conducting basic troubleshooting.
- Assist staff with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop computers, peripherals, and software within established standards.
- Log and resolve service desk calls, keeping users updated on progress.
- Collaborate with vendor support to resolve technical problems with desktop equipment and software.
- Work with IT support staff from other countries to address user issues as needed.
- Ensure seamless integration of desktop computers with various systems in a multi-layered client-server environment.
- Manage the PC re-image program using Intune.
- Conduct staff training on hardware and software usage.
- Recommend and perform system upgrades when necessary.
- Assist in purchasing, building, and deploying IT hardware and software.
- Maintain IT inventory through hardware and software audits.
- Experience with Azure environment.
- Provide support for Video Conferencing systems
- Customer/user satisfaction reported as the top priority.
- Log 100% of all service requests received from end-users.
- Ensure timely triage, resolution, or assignment of logged tickets.
- Coordinate with Application Owner teams for any service requests beyond the support area.
- Conduct annual software and hardware audits, ensuring completion.
- Ensure complete and successful rollout of equipment and systems.
- Demonstrate passion for customer service, exhibiting traits such as organization, approachability, enthusiasm, resilience, and friendliness.
- Possess strong technical knowledge and skills in Desktop support, considered essential for the role.
- Have experience working in a full Office365 environment, which is also essential.
- Hold a degree or TAFE Diploma in IT, an essential qualification.
- Preferably be a Microsoft Certified Professional, demonstrating strong proficiency.
- Preferably have experience with SCCM/Intune, which is considered advantageous.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Display a strong work ethic and willingness to meet job demands.
- Demonstrate logical and clear thinking abilities.
- Excel as an exceptional problem solver, adept at finding solutions effectively.
