Shangri-La Chiang Mai is looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Assistant Chief Engineer to support the Engineering Department in maintaining the hotel's facilities and systems to the highest standard. This position is under local employment terms and requires a strong commitment to Shangri-La's service and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitesAssist the Chief Engineer in the daily operation and administration of the Engineering Department.Supervise the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all hotel systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment.Ensure that all engineering operations strictly follow Shangri-La standards, safety regulations, and legal compliance.Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to ensure guest comfort and equipment reliability.Support energy conservation efforts and sustainability initiatives in accordance with company policies.Lead and coach engineering team members with a focus on safety, service, and efficiency.Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and effective engineering support.Respond promptly to guest requests and emergency calls with professionalism and care.
