- Strategic Leadership & Club Vision • Develop and execute the club's long-term strategic plan aligned with ownership objectives • Serve as the primary ambassador for the club with members, guests, and the community • Maintain the club's position as a premier golf destination through continuous improvement
- Financial Management • Oversee preparation and management of annual operating and capital budgets (typically $X-$X million) • Implement cost control measures without compromising quality standards • Drive revenue growth through membership strategies, green fees, F&B, and events • Analyze financial reports (P&L, balance sheets) and present to ownership monthly
- Golf Operations Excellence • Ensure world-class course conditions in collaboration with the Golf Course Superintendent • Oversee tournament operations and golf events (member competitions, corporate outings) • Maintain USGA/PGA standards for course setup and playing conditions • Evaluate and enhance golf shop merchandising and profitability
- Membership & Guest Experience • Develop membership retention and acquisition strategies • Maintain exceptional service standards (from bag drop to clubhouse dining) • Handle escalated member concerns with diplomacy and discretion • Implement member satisfaction measurement systems (surveys, focus groups)
- Food & Beverage Operations • Oversee all F&B outlets (restaurants, bars, banquet facilities) • Ensure high-quality culinary offerings with appropriate cost controls • Develop profitable event catering programs (weddings, corporate functions)
- Human Resources Leadership • Recruit, train, and mentor department heads and key staff • Foster a positive organizational culture with emphasis on service excellence • Oversee staff training programs and career development initiatives • Manage labor costs while maintaining appropriate staffing levels
- Facilities & Asset Management • Supervise capital improvement projects (course renovations, clubhouse upgrades) • Ensure proper maintenance of all facilities, equipment, and assets • Oversee security, risk management, and compliance programs
- Marketing & Business Development • Guide the Sales & Marketing team in brand positioning and promotional strategies • Develop strategic partnerships with local businesses and tourism organizations • Represent the club at industry events and golf associations
- Governance & Compliance • Ensure compliance with all local regulations and labor laws • Maintain proper insurance coverage and risk management protocols • Implement and update club policies and procedures
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in golf club/resort/hospitality management
- Proven track record of financial and operational success in similar facilities
- Deep understanding of golf operations and turf management principles
- Strong business acumen with P&L responsibility experience ($X+ million budgets)
- Exceptional interpersonal and member relations skills
- Fluent English (Thai language skills highly desirable)
- Preferred: • PGA/LPGA or CMAA certification
- Preferred: • Experience with luxury private clubs or destination resort operations
- Preferred: • Background in Southeast Asian golf/hospitality market
