We’re headquartered in Palma, Mallorca and employ around 3,500 people worldwide.JOB DESCRIPTION:Responsible for managing the regional accounts across his/her Regional as well as increase the number of new clients in the region and partnerships that will contribute to a revenue achievement.The main functions to be covered include:
  • Planning and executing commercial plan of expansion in the region MEAPAC in coordination with HBX Group.
  • Setting commercial and revenue targets of acquisition and accounts optimization.
  • Analysis of potential new clients and destinations.
  • Detect opportunities of business development and potential partnerships.
  • Understand clients needs and competitors’ offer in the market
  • Maintaining contact with clients’ decision makers & C-level responsible for the client's account through periodic calls and on-site visits and continuously assessing progress and their needs.
  • In-depth understanding of relationships, value chain, competitive risks and opportunities, and how to measure performance by growth in revenue and traffic on hotels direct channel.
  • Generating local networking with different players of the sector, from public entities to technology partners, competitors and even media.
  • Define the best branding strategy in the region helping the Mkt&Communications Dept.
  • Ensure Sales and Accounts Optimization teams in the region combine best practices of Roiback with local requirements to succeed in their objectives.
  • Continuously monitoring that the targets for sales and quality of service agreed with clients are met.
  • Implement the new value-added products of ROIBACK in the region.
  • Ensure regional team development and informed and build a good work environment with the rest of the services given by Roiback, evolving other departments like Product, Roiback Digital, CRS and so on.
  • Provide local commercial support to the central Credit & Collections team when facing difficulties to collect outstanding debt.
Skills:
  • Strategic thinker with a long-term approach to deal-making and partnership building.
  • Positive attitude, team player, passionate and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment of the current ecommerce hotel industry.
  • High level of negotiation skills and business focused.
  • Careful analysis of the control KPIs of the tracking reports (sales, traffic, change, markets, etc.) in order to detect trends and their causes.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills, attention to details.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Excellent written, spoken and communication skills and English language (Spanish and other additional languages will be a plus)
  • Having an interest in the trends of the direct channel sector, holistic distribution, competition and destinations
  • Ever-increasing knowledge of online marketing tools and techniques.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in an equivalent management role in the sector.
  • Proactivity to achieve goals and ability to work independently towards them.
  • Team management experience
  • Comfort presenting to Senior Leadership.
  • Expert in Direct Channel tools and products; with the ability to teach clients their uses and optimization techniques.
  • Flexibility when organizing daily work and be able to prioritize the most profitable actions.
  • Analytical and proven track record in using data to measure performance and make decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Two or more years managing or developing commercial activities at hotel sector.
  • Tourism degree or similar.
  • Understanding of Online Marketing Activities: Website development, Booking Engine, Marketing Online, Metasearch, Affiliates, SEO, SEM and e-mail marketing.
