  • Efficiently manage purchase requisitions, receipts, issues, and stock of stores and packing materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely purchases for min-max items.
  • Maintain MIS system for inventory control, conduct regular physical verifications, and identify slow-moving items.
  • Coordinate waste and scrap disposal processes, ensuring timely disposal to identified buyers.
  • Manage and maintain furniture and fixtures in the town office.
  • Plan employee development and ensure compliance with business excellence and quality management systems.
Major Challenges You'll Tackle
  • Numerous diversified finished goods require proper storage for separate identification and to prevent mixing.
  • Two warehouses must be maintained for timely delivery via FIFO system, accurate customer counts, and prevention of package damage.
  • Viscose and Polyester consist of various fiber specifications based on length and denier, demanding precise material handling to avoid rejection of entire lots.
  • Fluctuating demand for fibers necessitates coordination with suppliers for timely delivery of correct material types.
  • A wide variety of packing materials is necessary to meet diverse customer requirements, requiring careful stock management to avoid excess inventory.
  • Sale of waste and scrap materials to the unorganized sector requires vigilance for optimal realization of value.
Experience requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management or procurement, preferably in textiles or manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in inventory software and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership skills for team motivation and development.
  • Flexible to changing priorities and occasional weekend work.
