works rooted in heritage craftsmanship. The Sampling Department is the operational core that supports our global sales network with precision, speed, and aesthetic integrity.
Role Overview
The Head of Sampling is responsible for the maintenance, organization, and continuous
production of all sample programs.
This role ensures that historic and new collections are systematically structured, properly
archived, fully stocked, and immediately accessible. The department must function as a
disciplined, reliable system capable of prompt global response.
The immediate priority is operational mastery, stock integrity, filing precision, and
production flow.
With experience and demonstrated capability, the role may gradually evolve toward closer
coordination with the Art Studio on design interpretation and technical
Key Responsibilities
1. Sample Program Creation & Maintenance
- Create and maintain structured presentation lists for all sampling programs (legacy and
new collections).
- Ensure older programs remain organized, current, and in stock - never depleted or
forgotten.
- Maintain disciplined physical and digital filing systems allowing immediate retrieval
and dispatch.
- Establish clear production planning so sample programs flow continuously without
bottlenecks.2. Stock Control & Workflow Management
- Maintain accurate Excel/CRM logs of all sample requests and dispatches.
- Track projects from request to shipment and archive completed files systematically.
- Dynamically reprioritize workflow based on Sales and production deadlines.3. Quality Control & Assembly Supervision
- Supervise sewing and assembly teams.
- Finalize fabric selections and verify color accuracy and finishing standards.4. Cross-Department Coordination (Development Path)
- Liaise with Sales on technical sample requirements.
