Job Category: FIELD SPECIALISTJob Description:A Senior Field Specialist leverages extensive knowledge and experience to serve as the primary interface with the client at the well site, taking responsibility for completing service assignments and managing other Weatherford personnel on location. The role provides guidance to junior and intermediate specialists, troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues, and makes recommendations to improve product designs and procedures. Senior Field Specialists are typically involved with advanced technologies, may support research activities, and play a key role in planning assignments and achieving objectives.Responsibilities:
Supervise offshore operation, installing LH or completion equipment.
Performs job planning, preparation of tools & equipment, mobilization, job execution and submits all job-related data, not limited to job reports, WPTS data entry, observation cards while on-site, service tickets or logs with the required signatory, and any other documents required to successfully invoice the client within an acceptable time.
Tests, operates & maintains tools & equipment as per work instructions, according to policies & procedures in safe and presentable working conditions against their level of training & competence
Intermediate and Senior level roles will perform engineering checks while on client location. This may include hand calculations, updates of software computations, or new computations based on the latest data.
Senior level Field Specialist will manage the installation of complex equipment and/or services in the field
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of offshore experience in LH, well services, and completions.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
