Your TasksThis role will be responsible for the material requirement planning and VAS FG for a specific set of products and/or material group. Asst. VAS Executive Manager will manage material, suppliers, and co-packer to ensure material availability in order to support VAS Production to achieve the finished goods availability and service level target.
Review material requirement from the system and manage ordering process based on requirements and suppliers' order lead-time
Coordinate with Material Team at Production Center to manage common packaging materials demand
Coordinate with Supply team to manage and semi-FG for VAS
Communicate material availability (scheduling plan) to Co-packer, escalate potential issues and propose action plans
Own supplier's performance tracking and lead regular performance review with suppliers
Review co-packer capacity, work with co-packer to address and resolve capacity issue and find back up plan
Work with co-packer to improve performance both quality and OTIFF
Monitor aging/obsolete/left-over packaging material and VAS and propose action plans
Maintain Master Data and ensure Master Data accuracy and timeliness
Monitor and manage material inventory to ensure optimal level to meet changing business needs while not having high surplus
Participate in stock reconciliation and physical stock count process
Participate or lead process improvement/development work as assigned by team leader
Coordinate with Co-packer to ensure VAS FG availability and resolve issue if any
Connect with demand and customer response manager to understand the requirement priority and allocation
Ensure Service Level target deliver on VAS FG
Ensure VAS product available on time per launch commitment.
Prioritize Semi-FG deliver from WH or port to Co-packer
Minimize LOR to product RL and discontinue to deliver waste KPI
Coach and manage VAS Execution Planner
Work with procurement on the cost of material and co-packer
Your Profile
University degree in Supply Chain or related fields
3-4 years experiences in planning
Knowledge of MRP and/or other planning-related field. SAP knowledge is a plus
Good knowledge of Microsoft excel. Advance excel is preferable.
