Head of Legal and Compliance

• Lead and manage the overall Legal & Compliance function, ensuring full adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal governance standards.
• Oversee a team, including legal managers, compliance managers, and support staffs, promoting high-quality execution and collaboration.
• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies such as OIC and SEC on all company matters.
• Develop, implement, and continuously enhance compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory updates and assess their potential impact on strategic and operational plans.
• Provide clear, reliable advisory on legal and compliance matters to senior leadership and business units.
• Ensure all internal processes align with industry standards and corporate strategic direction.
• Review legal documents, agreements, and internal guidelines to mitigate risk and support business goals.
• Mentor and grow team members to strengthen regulatory capabilities across the organization.
• Build trust and alignment with the CEO and top management through strong expertise in life insurance regulatory matters.
• Drive initiatives that reinforce compliance culture across the company.
• Oversee compliance reporting, audits, and regulatory submissions.
• Support investigations and resolve issues related to governance or regulatory findings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to address legal challenges and promote business integrity.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, with a lawyer license required.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Legal, Compliance, or related fields.
• At least 5 years in insurance industry.
• Proven leadership experience managing legal and compliance teams at a senior level.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively with executives and regulators.
• Detail-oriented, self-confident professional able to work independently and handle complex regulatory matters.
