Be part of our team that values a wide range of perspectives and is committed to shaping a better world with every product we create.Location: BanglenWorkplace type: On SiteReport to: Project Engineer ManagerAs a Project Engineer, As a Project Engineer, you will manage and execute annual CAPEX projects by driving project and contractor safety and ensuring the plant capital program is delivered in a well-managed way that meets timeline, budget, and quality expectations. You will support process improvement and modification initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety management system and quality management system requirements.This role reports to the Project Engineering Manager and has no direct reports. The position is based on-site in Banglen and requires the ability to relocate within Thailand.What you will do:

Create, review, and initiate process improvement and modification designs, including mass and energy balances, equipment selection, and utility requirements.
Collaborate with local and international consulting engineers and Ingredion engineering teams to define operating conditions, equipment specifications, and control system design.
Define project scope to align with business and operational requirements.
Prepare project cost estimates and proposal packages for CAPEX approval.
Execute project planning and controls to ensure compliance with cost, time, scope, and quality targets.
Oversee safe construction, installation verification, control system programming, and commissioning in accordance with Ingredion’s safety and quality standards.
Support broader plant operations through strong coordination with safety, quality, and operational stakeholders.

What you will bring:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
Work experience in food and beverage, chemical manufacturing, or field design from engineering firms.
Preference work experienced from food industry.
Hands-on experience in CAPEX project management.
Ability to manage multiple capital projects in a plant environment and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Fluent English communication skills
