Ensure the compliance of all contractors working within the MTP premises with plant safety regulations, legal obligations, and site requirements by providing oversight and supervision.2. To ensure that the work achieves its intended outcomes, it is crucial to address any changes in order and resolve disputes between COV and contractors.3. Supervise, instruct, and guide to all contractors in order to comprehend and adhere to the COV's work regulations and safe work condition for working.4. Develop and consistently improve procedures and guidelines for the Contractor Management Program, which also involves implementing standardized processes to address contractor risk.5. Perform inspections and evaluations pertaining to health, environment, and safety at work locations for both internal and external contractors, adhering to audit procedures.6. Foster proactive communication and collaboration between Covestro execution teams and contractors.7. Initiative create program to enhance awareness and behavior of contractors.8. Train, monitor and maintain contractor passport for high skill work on high-risk operation.9. Conduct regularly safety walk-throughs in contractor workshop and contractor working place at plant in MTP.10. Ensure the safe operation of machinery and inspect machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.11. Investigate incidents, near miss to determine comprehensive root causes and follow up on corrective actions.12. Conduct safety orientation training for contractors to ensure that all specific requirements in COV are met by contractors.13. Investigate the cause and analyze the danger, illness or incident suffer from nuisance due to contractor's work activities and report inspection results, including suggesting solutions the problems for prompt prevent incidents.14. Provide support and actively participate in any events or activities that are associated with contractors, such as safety day, conducting LT safety walkthroughs at contractor workshops, and celebrating woman's Day.15. Regular inspections of cleanliness and tidiness at contractor workshop and contractor areas.16. Regularly inspect contractors' waste bins and coordinate with the relevant parties to either sole out or dispose of the waste properly.17. Collaborate and support an accommodation facility to contractors and during shutdown and turnaround or as requested as well.General Responsibilities1. Maintain Company Health and Safety standards/regulations to minimize the risk to themselves and other persons.2. Conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner and promote a good image of the company.3. Ensure that all requests or instructions as conveyed by the management; in relation to duties, policies and procedures are completely carried out.4. Support and actively contribute to the development of Covestro MTP initiatives such as WUMC/Project APACT, DEI, additional assignments and special projects.5. Comply with Covestro’s Corporate Compliance program and observe its principles in daily work.6. Support Covestro-MTP Management Systems activities such as Core processes, HSEQ system, 5S System, and Suggestion System.7. Demonstrate and develop subordinates in Covestro leadership behavior in order to nurture the mind-set and encourage the desired leadership behavior.Value added to the success of the companyEvaluation of external contractors.Build pro-actively the link between Covestro and contractor supervisors and execution teamsWork RelationsInternally contractors within Covestro MTPTSM, TSE and Engineering divisionProduction Plants of MTP siteHSE Covestro MTPInternal & External Auditors- Vendors and contractors- Service company representatives, managers, coordinators and staffsQualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in Technical and Engineering, or safety and occupational health or similar educational level.At least 10 years of experience in safety or technical work in the chemical industry.Safety officer (professional certificate license) will be given special consideration.Preferable with auditing job experienceProficient analytical about safety behavior and root cause analysis abilities.Good presentation & reporting skillsProficiency in working autonomously, under stress, and taking initiative in a dynamic setting with various time constraints.Good interpersonal and communication skillsWHAT YOU OFFERYOUR APPLICATION
