• Bermuda Grass Turf Management Develop and implement science-based maintenance programs for Bermuda grass, including: Mowing (height/frequency optimization for fairways, tees, greens, and roughs). Fertilization & Soil Health (seasonal nutrient programs, pH balancing, organic amendments). Irrigation (smart water management, moisture sensors, drought-response protocols). Aeration & Topdressing (to prevent compaction and promote root growth). Pest/Disease Control (preventive fungicides, weed management, IPM strategies). Overseeding (if applicable) with cool-season grasses for winter playability while protecting Bermuda base.
• Seasonal Weather Adaptations Hot Season (March-June): Mitigate heat stress via deep watering, shade management, and anti-scald practices. Monitor for Pythium, dollar spot, and drought damage; adjust fungicide schedules. Rainy Season (July-October): Prevent flooding with drainage checks, aeration, and sand topdressing. Combat fungal outbreaks (brown patch, algae) via verticutting and airflow improvement. Cool Season (November-February): Manage dormant Bermuda grass (reduce mowing/fertilization, minimize traffic). Frost protection (delay morning maintenance to prevent turf fracture).
• Team & Operations Leadership Recruit, train, and supervise groundskeeping staff (scheduling, safety, performance). Manage equipment maintenance (mowers, sprayers, aerators) and budget for repairs/upgrades. Oversee chemical/fertilizer inventory, ensuring proper storage and compliance. Implement sustainability initiatives (water conservation, reduced chemical use).
• Course Improvement & Reporting Collaborate with the Head of Golf Operations on tournament prep and daily playability. Submit monthly reports on turf health, weather impacts, and maintenance progress. Recommend renovation projects (bunker upgrades, drainage systems, grassing changes).

• Education: Degree/certification in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in golf course maintenance, with Bermuda grass specialization. - Experience in tropical/monsoon climates (preferred) or ability to adapt practices.
• • Technical Knowledge: - Bermuda grass physiology, disease/pest control, and recovery techniques. - Irrigation systems (central control, moisture sensors), turf machinery, and soil science. • Leadership: Strong team management, budgeting, and problem-solving skills. • Language: Thai (English beneficial).
