This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional who enjoys building relationships, developing markets, and turning strategy into results — all while working in a truly international environment.This role will be based in Bangkok, Thailand and you’ll take ownership of key markets across Southeast Asia, working closely with distributors, customers, and internal teams to grow revenue, expand opportunities, and strengthen long-term partnerships.If you’re excited by regional responsibility, commercial ownership, and the chance to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesAs our Sales / BD Manager, you’ll play a central role in keeping our revenue engine moving. Your focus will include:
- Managing and growing an established customer portfolio, with a strong focus on Coatings Additives distributors and key accounts.
- Delivering regional volume and contribution margin targets, aligned with annual budgets.
- Developing and executing account plans to capture new business opportunities.
- Working closely with distributors to drive growth and strengthen channel performance.
- Leading commercial negotiations on pricing and contracts in a competitive market.
- Identifying new opportunities through new products and applications.
- Supporting new product launches in collaboration with Marketing, Business Development, and Technical Service teams.
- Gathering and sharing market and competitor intelligence.
- Actively prospecting to identify and develop new accounts across the region.
- Ensuring profitability, working capital, and CRM reporting remain within company standards.
- 5-8 years of experience in a similar sales or business development role.
- Solid knowledge of the Coatings market (Industrial, Automotive, and/or Architectural).
- Experience working with distribution networks.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- A proactive, flexible mindset with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Comfort learning new technologies and products quickly.
- Fluency in English (local language or Mandarin is a plus).
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in reporting and spreadsheets.
- Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Commerce (experience in the Coatings or Additives industry is highly preferred).
- A Master’s degree in Science, Commerce, or Marketing is an advantage.
