- Translate written documents and presentations from English to Thai (and occasionally Thai to English), ensuring clarity, accuracy, and contextual relevance.
- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, training sessions, audits, and cross-site collaborations.
- Ensure translations maintain accuracy, clarity, and contextual relevance, especially in engineering and manufacturing terminology.
- Collaborate with communications and HR teams to support bilingual communication needs.
- Review and edit translated materials for consistency, grammar, and adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Communications, Leadership, etc.) to ensure consistency and alignment of translated content with company goals and values.
- Review and proofread translated materials for quality assurance.
- Maintain and update a translation glossary to ensure consistency of terms.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive operational and personnel information with discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Engineering, or a related field. A certification in professional translation or interpretation is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in translation or interpretation experience, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Fluent in Thai and English (spoken and written), with strong grammar and comprehension skills.
- Familiarity with terminology related to electronics, mechanical engineering, or data storage technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and translation tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) is preferred.
- Experience working in a multinational manufacturing company.
- Understanding of ISO standards, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma terminology.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Ability to adapt language for different audiences (e.g., technicians, engineers, executives).
