- Manage the procurement and logistics of materials required for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects in the oil and gas sector.
- Coordinate with project teams to understand material requirements, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Oversee the organization and operation of warehouses to support EPC projects.
- Implement and maintain efficient inventory control measures, optimizing stock levels and ensuring materials are readily available for project needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Bills of Quantity for EPC projects, aligning with project schedules and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate and timely procurement based on project requirements.
- Conduct regular material reconciliations for EPC projects, ensuring alignment with production formulas and project timelines.
- Work closely with project teams to address any material discrepancies and optimize usage for cost-effectiveness.
- Stay informed about and comply with laws and regulations related to customs privileges, including bonded warehouse, Free Zone, and Board of Investment (BOI).
- Ensure smooth customs clearance for imported materials, leveraging privileges to minimize costs and streamline processes.
- Read, interpret, and integrate information from engineering drawings into material management processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align procurement with project specifications and ensure compliance with design requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years experience working in warehouse management, bill of quantity, and material reconciliation in the context of EPC projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, especially those related to oil and gas facilities.
- Knowledge of and experience with customs privileges and regulations relevant to the oil and gas industry, including bonded warehouse, Free Zone, and BOI.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges related to material procurement, customs clearance, and project-specific requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
- Good command of English.
