School Shop Manager

• In line with the school's guiding statements, the Shop Manager plays a pivotal role in the smooth, efficient, and high-quality daily operation of the School Shop.
• This position supports the Senior Leadership Team in overseeing the highest level of professional standards in customer care. The Shop Manager serves as a critical bridge between the school and families, fostering strong partnerships, and facilitating outstanding community provision.
• The Shop Manager Primary Role: Inventory Management: Be responsible for ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise. This includes school supplies, uniforms, branded apparel, and other items sold in the shop. This includes tracking inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimise overstock.
• Receipt of Goods Be responsible for receiving school supplies of all kinds, checking deliveries and ensuring that the items are stored or delivered to the requestor appropriately.
• Sales: Oversee sales operations, ensuring efficient and friendly service to students, parents, and staff. This includes assisting with product selection and fittings (especially for uniforms).
• Financial Oversight: Manage the shop's budget, processes sales transactions, and reconcile daily sales. Be responsible for preparing financial reports and analysing sales data with the Finance Team
• Customer Service: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring a positive shop experience for students, parents, and staff. This includes training and supervising outsourced staff, resolving customer complaints, and maintaining a clean and organised retail space.
• Marketing and Merchandising: Develop and implement strategies to promote shop products and services. This may involve creating displays, organizing special sales events, and collaborating with school administration on new product offerings.
• Staff Management: In collaboration with our out-sourced vendor, hire, train, and schedule staff, which may include student volunteers or part-time employees. Provide guidance and feedback to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensures the shop adheres to all school policies and procedures, as well as relevant health and safety regulations. This includes maintaining accurate records and handling any incidents or emergencies that may occur in the shop.
• Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and terms. Evaluate new products and vendors to ensure the shop offers a high-quality selection of goods.
• The School Shop Manager : Secondary Role
• Front Desk Support: Greeting and welcoming prospective families, directing them to the appropriate staff, and providing basic information about the school.
• Tours Assistance: Assisting Admissions staff in preparing materials for school tours, such as brochures, welcome packs, and refreshments.
• Events & Open Days: Helping set up, organize, and manage logistics for Admissions-related events, ensuring professional presentation and smooth execution.
• Parent Communication: Providing general assistance with inquiries, directing calls or visitors to the right contact, and ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
• Marketing Support: Assisting with merchandising of promotional items or school-branded materials used in Admissions campaigns and outreach events.

• Thai Nationality, Male or Female
• Fluent in English
• 2-5 years of proven experience in a similar role (essential)
• Experience working in school (desirable)
• Customer service orientation, PR (essential)

• This position is based at the SBS Rangsit campus (52/347 Muang Ake, Phahonyothin Road, Lak Hok, Mueang, Pathum Thani 12000)
• The role may occasionally require weekend work for school events or open houses. If the workweek exceeds 5 days, the company will provide time-off benefits in accordance with school policy.
