• Senior Mechanical Engineer for the position of Technical Manager be stationed at Bangkok, Thailand and working at Vientiane, Lao P.D.R About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer (mid-career, ideally mid-30s) with strong skills in machine shop operations, air-conditioning (HVAC), design/drawing, and general maintenance. The role also requires working knowledge of automation systems and responsibility for purchasing and managing spare parts to support smooth factory operations. Work Location will be Bangkok and Vientiane.
• Plan, organize and implement periodic maintenance and resolve breakdown to minimize production down time.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC/air-conditioning systems and general factory utilities.Supervise machine shop activities including machining, fabrication, and repair of mechanical parts.
• Prepare, review, and update mechanical designs and CAD drawings for new projects and modifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Plan, organize and implement construction and installation projects in relation to the factory expansion, re-organization, or maintenance of the facilities within the factory premises and dormitories.
• Support installation, alignment, and commissioning of new machinery, including those with automation interfaces.
• Collaborate with automation and electrical teams for integrated production solutions.
• Manage purchasing of spare parts, consumables, and mechanical equipment; maintain stock and vendor relations.

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years industrial experience in maintenance, machine shop, and HVAC.
• Expertise in lathe, milling, welding, and fabrication techniques.
• Expertise in designing precision mechanical parts and assembly, knowledge of metals, plastics for machining, good knowledge of metal treatment and tolerances used in the production.
• Proven experience in air-conditioning/HVAC systems installation and maintenance.
• Sound knowledge in design software like AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
• Knowledgeable on environmental and safety regulations.
• Experience in purchasing, vendor management, and spare parts inventory.
• Fluent in Thai and English.
• Basic knowledge of automation systems is an added advantage (PLC-controlled machinery, sensors, integration)
