  • Strategic Planning and execute business plans of Pharmaceuticals in Thailand in order to achieve business objectives including revenue, gross margin, operating result and working capital.
  • Lead all business aspects to ensure organic growth through market expansion, opportunity pipeline management, margin expansion and securing business with new & existing customers through value-based solution selling, marketing activities, contract negotiation, tactical execution and driving efforts to achieve or increase market share.
  • Supplier Relationship & Supplier Expansion: Onboard new suppliers & Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers. Conduct regular performance reviews, negotiate contracts, and work closely with suppliers to ensure our KPIs as well as meet our stringent requirements for quality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Identifying key decision makers & develop strong relationship with customers to support retention and translate into new revenue opportunities, programs to retain and grow existing accounts.
  • Ensure profitability of the business by achieving monthly sales targets & market share through direct selling & monitoring performance against targets and by securing business with new & existing customers. Develop organic growth with both existing and new customers. Manage adequately stocks adaptors (working capital) of the business unit.
  • Develop and implement segment-specific sales actions plan for the assigned markets to achieve order, revenue and margin projections through value-based solution selling.
  • Lead and manage sales strategy formulation and execution for key accounts.
  • Drive customised solutions manage and market opportunity pipeline.
  • Act as primary point of contact between company and key customers, implement plans aimed at business retention and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Understand and keep track of changing key customer needs and business environments to ensure the most appropriate support is provided to fulfil key customers' needs.
  • Liaise with internal departments to maximise sales opportunities. Provide concise and adequate reporting and information-sharing on a regular basis. Maintain detailed customer profiling database and provide business analysis.
  • Ensure the territory is effectively serviced to achieve sales targets. Build good networking with senior management and decision makers in the Pharmaceuticals market.
  • Work closely with the Regional Business Group Director and Managing Director to develop a product portfolio and fill product gaps by monitoring market trends and competitor movements to identify potential opportunities and challenges
  • Maintain good talent, motivate and develop the team within Pharmaceuticals.
  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of ordering and inventory management within the business unit, ensuring optimal stock levels, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the sales of pharmaceutical industry preferably in Pharmaceutical raw materials (speciality chemicals, excipients, pharmacy& nutritional supplement).
  • Extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical market, regulatory landscapes, and pharmaceutical product development within distributors, principals, manufacturers, preferably in an MNC environment.
  • Strong leadership, delegation, decision making and planning skill
  • Strong communication skills, presentation skills, interpersonal and networking skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and relationship building - both internally and externally.
  • Motivated and energetic personality, can-do attitude
  • High degree of independence and work with minimum supervision
  • Confident in leading technical discussions and be problem-solvers
