- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Lead the execution of the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to consolidate inputs and challenge assumptions.
- Business analysis role: Provide high-quality financial analysis and commentary for monthly and quarterly performance review and rolling forecasts, to support senior management making decisions on key business development opportunities.
- Management Reporting & Performance Analysis:
- Prepare monthly management reporting packages with variance analysis.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) , conduct deep-dive analysis on merchant performance.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Business partner role:
- Work closely with the business team to address their biz goal, initiatives and deliver business results, including but not limited to budget review and control, market & industry research, operation improvement, investment ROI evaluation, project modeling, contract review and risk management, etc.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA qualification is a plus.
- Experience:
- 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Financial Due Diligence experience from a Big 4 or reputable firm and experience in FP&A within a corporate environment will be a plus.
- Industry experience in eCommerce, Fintech, or Internet sectors is highly preferred.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with the ability to present financial results, lead discussions, and prepare executive-level presentations in English.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical ability with experience handling large datasets and extracting meaningful insights.
- Core Competencies:
- Structural & Critical Thinking: Able to break down complex problems into logical frameworks, identify root causes, and build scalable processes. Look beyond the numbers to ask the right questions, connect dots, and uncover underlying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: Comfortable with a dynamic work environment. In addition to core FP&A responsibilities, there will be opportunities to participate in diversified projects such as financing activities, M&A support, and strategic initiatives, offering broad exposure to the full spectrum of the CFO's agenda.
- Resilience: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and can manage workload effectively, accommodating moderate overtime during peak periods (e.g., budgeting cycles, month-end close) to meet deadlines.
