Job Category: SalesJob Description:1. Strategic Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for financial institution clients, maintaining high-touch engagement through frequent visits, industry networking, and professional entertainment.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, communicating the Bank's news, financial health, and strategic updates to the market.
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities by promoting the full suite of Universal Banking products, emphasizing Product Bundling rather than single-product sales.
2. Product Marketing & Advisory
  • Collaborate with product teams across the CIMB Group to pitch complex financial solutions, including Debt/Equity Capital Markets (DCM/ECM), Treasury products, Transaction Banking, and Insurance.
  • Lead the preparation of comprehensive service proposals and mandates.
  • Manage client expectations during the end-to-end product presentation and execution process.
3. Credit & Risk Portfolio Management
  • Partner with Credit Analysis (FIG Thailand/CORA KL) to establish, review, and extend credit limits for financial institution counterparties.
  • Monitor real-time credit utilization and the financial health of counterparties.
  • Exercise proactive risk mitigation by freezing credit lines if a counterparty's credit status shows signs of deterioration.
4. Transactional & Legal Oversight
  • Lead negotiations for business terms and conditions in legal agreements, working closely with the Legal Department to finalize documentation.
  • Manage the operational lifecycle of Vostro/Nostro accounts, including opening, closing, and justifying the strategic necessity of such accounts to the Group.
  • Oversee KYC/CDD and AML compliance by managing questionnaire exchanges and ensuring all regulatory standards are met.
