- Serve as the primary point of contact for financial institution clients, maintaining high-touch engagement through frequent visits, industry networking, and professional entertainment.
- Act as a brand ambassador, communicating the Bank's news, financial health, and strategic updates to the market.
- Identify and capture new business opportunities by promoting the full suite of Universal Banking products, emphasizing Product Bundling rather than single-product sales.
- Collaborate with product teams across the CIMB Group to pitch complex financial solutions, including Debt/Equity Capital Markets (DCM/ECM), Treasury products, Transaction Banking, and Insurance.
- Lead the preparation of comprehensive service proposals and mandates.
- Manage client expectations during the end-to-end product presentation and execution process.
- Partner with Credit Analysis (FIG Thailand/CORA KL) to establish, review, and extend credit limits for financial institution counterparties.
- Monitor real-time credit utilization and the financial health of counterparties.
- Exercise proactive risk mitigation by freezing credit lines if a counterparty's credit status shows signs of deterioration.
- Lead negotiations for business terms and conditions in legal agreements, working closely with the Legal Department to finalize documentation.
- Manage the operational lifecycle of Vostro/Nostro accounts, including opening, closing, and justifying the strategic necessity of such accounts to the Group.
- Oversee KYC/CDD and AML compliance by managing questionnaire exchanges and ensuring all regulatory standards are met.
