Through our Anantara, Avani, Oaks, Elewana, Tivoli, NH Hotel Group, Four Seasons, St. Regis, Marriott and Minor International properties, across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe and South America.Job DescriptionThe Director of Content role is responsible for overseeing all marketing content development for our proprietary hotel brands including, but not limited to, the Anantara and Avani brands.The Director of Content plays a key part in strategically developing campaign concepts and content - with the Corporate Marketing Team and/or external agencies/contributors - and overseeing the execution thereof from a content perspective. He/she leads a team of freelance copywriters and content creators, and also works with external agencies to meet our communication needs.In addition to driving content for campaigns and projects initiated within the Corporate Marketing Team, the Director of Content serves as the point of contact for Minor Hotels' internal stakeholders (hotel teams and corporate departments) who seek support with content requirements for marketing communications. The position might be exposed to some special projects across the business as required.Implementing Content Strategy. Create content strategies that drive the reach, reputation and revenue of each individual hotel brand while also furthering the growth trajectory of Minor Hotels as a whole. Lead the development of overarching content strategies and long-term plans, around a results-oriented and data-driven content approach with increased focus on market segmentation, customisation and personalisation - and initiate concrete and actionable plans to do so.Delivering Content - From Concept to Execution. Oversee the development and execution of results-oriented multi-channel integrated content for marketing campaigns while utilising own copywriting skills, as well as external specialists. In addition, the Director of Content Marketing & Communications will lead the further development of tone of voice guides for all hotel groups. They will also be responsible for all content requirements relating to the Marketing CRM team and will liaise directly with the Marketing CRM teams to deliver world-class guest communications.Developing Workflow and Content Processes. Identify content-related bottlenecks and key areas for development to improve resource allocation and streamline workflows, processes and productivity within the Corporate Marketing Department and between departments, hotel brands and geographic regions.Solid Project Management. Effective and efficient management of all content requests coming to the department, prioritise and make sure deadlines are met. Direct copy work provided by third-party agencies to ensure content adheres to brand guidelines.Effective Hotel Marketing Support. Advise and/or support hotels on content requirements of property-level communications and support the day to day running of the business. Proactively develop content templates and toolkits - turnkey content solutions - for our hotel teams.Qualifications
  • Degree in Marketing/Communications or related area.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in Marketing, Advertising and/or Copy within agency and or in-house environments, specialising in content.
  • A strategic approach to content development and creation.
  • A thorough understanding of setting content objectives, strategies and tactics.
  • Extensive and growing knowledge of hospitality, travel and tourism industries.
  • Exceptional command of the English language (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, to manage priorities and to adapt to changing commercial environments.
