In this regional role, you will contribute strongly to the development and deployment of an ISO 9001-compatible Quality Management System (QMS), drive audits, and power data-driven decision-making that improves product performance, process capability, and customer satisfaction. You will operate across cultures and Business Units (BUs), engaging from shop floor to management teams, and help harmonize how quality is managed across the region.What you will be doingBased in Saraburi, Thailand, with estimated travel of 20-30% across the region as needed, your responsibilities include:Quality Management and ComplianceSupport the design, documentation, and implementation of a plant QMS compatible with ISO 9001 across APAC sites.Monitor internal and external compliance levels of APAC products and processes; identify gaps and support corrective and preventive actions.Ensure plants operate with the latest applicable Knauf standards and testing methodologies.Act as a technical referent to sustain and improve quality compliance scores in plants.Audits, Reviews, and GovernanceSupport planning and execution of internal audits of APAC Business Units.Document findings and track action closure via Pentana.Provide harmonized reporting documents and dashboards; advise on corrective actions and continuous improvement priorities.Data Collection and Analytics via Resma-SPCIssue quarterly reports on Quality and Compliance and Competitors Benchmarking.Lead the collection, validation, and analysis of quality data across APAC using Resma.Build and maintain harmonized dashboards and reporting packs; provide trends, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.Train plant and Business Unit teams on accurate data entry and effective use of Resma analytics.Automate KPI tracking (e.g., audit findings closure, complaint cycle time, nonconformance rates, process capability indices) and publish monthly analytics.Standards, Methods, and BenchmarkingMaintain a repository of applicable Knauf standards, methods and testing SOPs for APAC plants in the Document Management System.Training and Capability DevelopmentOrganize and deliver training on risk, reliability, and quality management best practices for local Quality Management teams.Develop the skills of local Quality staff to optimize individual contribution and elevate overall performance.Share and codify best practices within APAC and across the Group; contribute to knowledge management and good practices.Support creation and revision of Regional Quality Handbook.Stakeholder CollaborationCollaborate closely with regional APAC Health Safety Environment and Process & Technology teams, Country Operations, and BU leadership to synchronize formulation, process adaptation, and improvement initiatives.Operate effectively in a matrix organization, influence and support compliance performance across diverse, multi-cultural and multi-language environments.Participate in the Group Core Quality Management Team to represent APAC needs and share regional insights.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Quality Management audit across APAC plantsTimely closure of audit findings and corrective actionsAccuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Resma data and dashboardsAdoption rate of standardized testing methods, procedures and standardsTraining delivered and capability of the quality managers/ engineers' communityWhat we would love for you to haveQualificationsUniversity degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field (Bachelors of Science or above)ISO 9001 internal auditor certification or equivalent is preferredExperience5 years of experience in quality engineering, ideally in manufacturing and multi-site environmentsDemonstrable experience with ISO 9001 system and auditsExperience working across multiple countries or regions and in matrix organizationsTechnical SkillsStrong technical acumen in quality systems, standards, and testing methodologiesProficiency with digital and statistical tools for quality analysis (e.g., SPC, Pareto, root-cause methods)Practical experience with data collection and analytics platforms; Resma experience strongly preferredAbility to create simplicity out of complexity through clear reports, dashboards, and recommendationsSoft Skills and BehaviorsExcellent communication (written and oral); comfortable engaging from shop floor to executiveLogical, process-driven, and pragmatic approach to achieving goalsAbility to influence stakeholders, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive continuous improvementStrong organization, prioritization, and project coordination skillsSolid oral and written English; additional APAC languages are an advantageWhat happens next?Your application will be reviewed by our Hiring Team to determine if your experiences and skills are what we are looking for in the role.
