This role works closely with suppliers, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to prevent defects and improve product and process quality.Supplier Quality Engineering
- Evaluate, select, and qualify suppliers based on quality requirements
- Manage supplier corrective actions (SCAR) and verify effectiveness
- Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, responsiveness)
- Conduct supplier audits (process, quality system, and product audits)
- Support internal production quality issues related to supplier partsQuality Engineering
- Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency
- Participate in problem-solving activities for customer complaints
