ASEAN Finance Controller (Automotive) (P10547)

• Assist Business Leaders in formulating the annual Budget & Strategic Plan, conducting monthly business reviews, and implementing and monitoring Budgetary Controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors and Tax Authorities during audits, annual filings, and responding to queries.
• Work closely with the Company’s Corporate Secretary to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
• Always maintain the accuracy and integrity of all financial reports and accounts.
• Oversee the annual audit process and ensure timely filing of Statutory Accounts and other returns per legal requirements.
• Monitor working capital investments and implement credit control procedures to achieve target DSO Days. Provide support to Operations in inventory management as required.
• Supervise treasury functions and ensure proper accountability of cash.
• Implement Internal Controls & Company policies in compliance with SOX and the Company’s Act.
• Prepare Annual Costing Budget, Flex budget, and Monthly forecasting packages.
• Ensure accuracy of costing calculations, man/machine hours, throughput calculations, and Bottleneck costing.
• Take ownership of Cost Accounting related to Statutory/Cost Audit/ Transfer pricing.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end closing activities related to plant and costing.
• Manage, develop, and retain Finance staff.
• Collaborate with various employee groups and educate them on financial processes and controls.

• A minimum of 5 years of proven track record in supporting transformative business initiatives.
• Holds a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting with a robust understanding of accounting principles, particularly USGAAP.
• Prior experience in costing is essential.
• Possession of CA or CPD certification, or equivalent, is considered advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in collaborating with business leaders to develop and implement global initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are essential, with the ability to influence and coach across various levels and locations within the company, establishing global partnerships.
• Capable of staffing and developing a competent and efficient team.
• Demonstrated understanding of regulatory environments relevant to finance and accounting.
• Exhibits business acumen and a strategic mindset.
• Proficient in change management leadership, with the ability to drive and manage change effectively.
