- The Manager Corporate Affairs (Communications and Patient Advocacy) is a newly created and critical leadership role based in Thailand, supporting the Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam (MTV) business. The role will lead the Communications and Patient Advocacy strategy and accelerate our communications public policy
- Working closely with General Manager (MTV), government affairs, communications and marketing, the role will be a key driver of shaping our brand, community and public engagement, media, corporate responsibility and government engagement.
- Develop, lead and execute corporate affairs strategies to craft our brand, media and public affairs, and corporate responsibility
- Partner closely with the government affairs team to craft our policy environment and increase patient to support patient access to life saving therapies.
- Develop strategy and messaging that showcases thought leadership therapy access, community support, and investment and innovation.
- Work closely with Marketing teams to identify key opportunities to deploy public affairs strategies that have a measurable impact.
- Work in partnership with employee-led community engagement teams, government affairs and medical affairs to build and strengthen relationships with critical partners, advocates, NGOs, academics to advocate for patient interests
- Serve as the strategic advisor to the local Leadership team on corporate affairs issues and opportunities in the region
- A key advisor and support to the General Manager (Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam) to strengthen employee engagement.
- Develop robust approaches and guidelines to support safe, ethical and compliant communications and public engagement.
- Engage and partner with the regional and global communications and patient advocacy colleagues to leverage and share best practice efforts.
- Serve as the key media contact an spokesperson for the organisation in partnership with the General Manager and APAC Director.
- Manage PR agencies and other vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- University degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, Corporate Affairs or relevant field.
- +10 years working experience in public affairs, media relations or relevant field.
- Knowledge of local Thai media required.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Fluent Thai (written and verbal) and proficient English (written and verbal).
- Proficient in presentation design concepts and tools and experience in video, photography audio editing preferred.
- Strategic thinker with ability to develop strategies to that leverage our organisation brand and expertise.
- Ability to balance short- and long-term priorities
- Proactive attitude and familiar with working in a matrix environment and handling multiple stakeholders
- Connections with local Thai media outlets preferred
