Data Platform Engineer

• Monitor platform performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Handle day-to-day administrative and operational requests for data platforms (e.g., user access, resource provisioning, configuration changes).
• Maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related incidents, including RCA reporting (on-call and night shift support required).
• Support platform upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support platform operations.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Platform Engineer.
• Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms, especially in Microsoft Azure (AWS is a plus).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Python).
• Solid Linux administration skills (user management, performance tuning, troubleshooting).
• Familiar with tools and technologies such as Databricks, Azure Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Synapse, APIs, and container platforms.
