Job Category: ProductionJob Description:Job PurposeOperate, program, monitor, control, evaluate, report operation in the copper fabrication area by ensuring effectiveness and efficiency in aspects of resource / material management (5M) to achieve planned operational targets. This role is responsible for ensuring the copper fabrication area meets daily customer demand and production schedule whilst ensuring safety and quality standards are always maintained.The copper fabrication area consists of 4 major machines punching, bending, milling and 3d rod bending with stamping. The main aspect of this role is to ensure the utilization, safety and operation of these machines.Job ContextEnsures satisfactory production efficiency and productivity to comply with safety and environmental and Quality System.Job DimensionsThis role will be based in Rayong and will report to a Section head.Key AccountabilitiesThese will include:Production & Output Control
  • Execute production activities according to established plans, schedules, and standards, ensuring output meets required quality and efficiency levels.
  • Monitor, check, and update production parameters, workflows, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous alignment with operational requirements.
  • Identify any deviations from production plans or abnormal operating conditions and promptly report them to the Operations Manager.
Material & Inventory Handling
  • Monitor raw material and WIP stock levels to ensure they remain consistent with production needs.
  • Highlight any variances or potential shortages to prevent disruption to production flow.
Quality & Compliance
  • Follow all approved production procedures, work instructions, and documentation requirements in line with ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) standards.
  • Support immediate actions on off specification products by informing Operations Manager and QA for further decision making.
Safety & Housekeeping
  • Adhere to safety rules, equipment operating procedures, and hazard prevention practices at all times.
  • Maintain 5S housekeeping standards and contribute to initiatives aimed at achieving world class manufacturing practices.
Continuous Improvement Participation
  • Participate in improvement activities such as Kaizen, Lean initiatives, or problem solving sessions by providing operational feedback and technical insights (without leading teams).
Cross Functional Support
  • Support cross functional tasks or off role assignments when required by the business.
  • Manage stock and work orders in D365 AX as part of daily operational tasks.
Operational Flexibility
  • When production targets are achieved early, perform general operator tasks to support other manufacturing areas as needed.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical Engineering, or related fields. And or 5 years experience listed below.
  • Skill in at least 5 years experience working in a machine shop, or with some sort of CNC machine , with highlights in Punching, bending, milling and stamping machines.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a production leader type role
  • Able to stay in the night shift in a long period (8 weeks min.)
  • Experience in Made-To-Order (MTO) type of environment
  • Strong working knowledge of local rules and regulations
  • People management skills.
  • ERP (Microsoft, AX Dynamics preferably) exposure, MS office tools
  • Switch Gear knowledge is preferable.
  • Drive to achieve results - sets own standards, checks own work, and demonstrates a positive approach
  • Ability to work in MTO and dynamic environment, tight deadlines and handle high volume workloads
  • Well communication skills with the ability to influence and guide business managers
  • Excellent English communication skills along with proficiency in Thai language.
