An opportunity to build the next Unicorn with some of the most brilliant people in their fields and specialty, while also creating impact by supporting small sellers and micro-entrepreneurs across the region.Who We Are Looking ForWe are looking for an experienced Financial Controller or Senior Accounting Manager to join our Shipper Thailand team to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.This role will be reporting directly to our Country Head - Thailand and dotted line to our Regional Finance Team ( Indonesia)What Will You Do
  • Fully responsible for all finance and accounting operations.
  • Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.
  • Manage the processes of the company’s fiscal activities, including forecasting, budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting for auditing and managerial reports for the management team.
  • Control and evaluate the company’s capital structure and ensure cash flow is appropriate for the company’s operations.
  • Identify and address financial risks and cost-effectiveness opportunities for the company.
  • Develop internal control activities as well as corrective actions to minimize risk to impact the company’s financial status and business sustainability.
  • Provide strategic financial recommendations and effective implementation to the Management Team
  • Establish and develop relations with the management team, internal/external partners and stakeholders (e.g. management, auditors, banks etc.).
  • Advise long-term business and financial planning and tools to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Initiate digital transformation to financial and accounting activities to serve the company’s future growth.
  • Aware of Financial and Accounting trends, policy, legal, improvement and development to ally with the company's business.
What Are The Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • At least 10 years of working experience with a significant background in (Big 4) audit field and a corporate environment
  • At least 5 years experience in the Managerial level.
  • Experience working in a multinational and dynamic business environment with a sound understanding of global processes and transactional flows (i.e. familiar with IFRS and/or GAAP).
  • Prior experience in one or more of the following industries: trading, logistics & supply chain and/or e-commerce.
  • Prior exposure working in a start-up and/or new JV business environment is highly preferred.
  • Able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.
  • Successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement or pre-operational experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Thai, to engage with staff at all levels of the organization.
