In charge of helping communication (including dealing with product/quality issues) between Japan (buyer/importer) and Thai local factories (supplier)
- Communicate daily with the parent company in Japan in Japanese (reporting, coordination, and consultation)
-Negotiate and coordinate with Thai packers and suppliers in Thai language to ensure smooth operations
-Manage shipment schedules, quality control standards, and necessary documentation for poultry products
-Lead and support factory visits by Japanese staff, including high-level interpretation and on-site coordination
-Collaborate closely with the restructured Japan chicken team to align on strategy and execution2. Business Development & Existing customers
-Develop and secure new projects/orders from the existing customer base
-Actively seek business expansion opportunities with a strategic focus on the Pet Food industry
-Identify customer requirements and propose tailored product solutions or new business models
-Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and competitor activities, especially in the pet food sectorREQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE-Bachelor's degree in related fields
-Nearly Upper-Intermediate level of Japanese -You will communicate with Japan HQs in daily basis.
*JLPT N2 or equivalent. Actual communication skills are more important than JLPT score.
-Intermediate level English (email and conversation, used to communicate with local suppliers)
-Strong experience in communication with Japanese clients or colleagues
-Minimum 3 years of working experience (any industry)
-Comfortable with customer-facing and coordination tasks and dealing with complaints
-A multi-tasker (Able to handle several tasks)Preferred:
-Experience in the food industry, trading, or Pet Food related business
-Experience in import/export operations
-Ability to communicate in English (email and basic conversation)
-Flexibility for business trips (Domestic/Factory visits)
