Be as proud to belong to Meliá as we are of you 😉We are looking for Guest Experience Manager - Melia Koh Samui, Thailand.Mission:To engage with the guest and develop a strong rapport between the guest and the hotel in the cooperation of the Front Office Department as well as to ensure the standard of all services in the hotel is up to the bar.Main responsibilities:
  • Supports all property operations, ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided.
  • Represent hotel management in resolving any guest related situation. Manage complaints and monitoring guest feedback, onsite and via social media.
  • Responsible for proactively enhancing the whole guest experience from pre-arrival to post-departure.
  • Engage with the guests in all areas throughout the hotel to develop a strong rapport with them.
  • Analyse guest feedback and provide strategic direction to continually improve hotel's operation and guest experience.
  • Ensure sufficient processes and trainings are in place to achieve required product knowledge and all quality standards.
  • Handle courtesy call to ensure the guest is satisfied about the hotel and services provided.
  • Review Arrival information on a daily basis for all VIPs, regular guest, long staying guest, group, special request, etc. and follow up with relevant department.
  • Pre-arrival preparation including room inspection, greeting, room escort, in-room orientation for all VIPs guests.
  • Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements.
Main requirements:
  • The role's open for expat
  • High level of English (verbal and written)
  • Previous International luxury hotel experience.
  • 360 degrees of Hotel Operations knowledge.
  • Guest centric profile, person be able to be front the operations and guest focus.
  • Attention to detail & a passion for excellence.
  • Leadership, analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal capabilities; attention to detail, along with the ability to supervise and work well with a team, are key attributes and competencies sought.
  • Driven by passion and can-do attitude.
