Senior Engineer, Mechanical

• Provision of assistance to the Facilities Engineering Manager in regard to undertaking detailed engineering
• Oversee piping design and engineering as per the project requirements
• Act as a focal point for all technical matters related to the mechanical design and engineering of the assigned project
• Coordinate within engineering team members/disciplines and cross-functions

• Perform, oversee, and manage detailed drawings and design
• Perform /Check Engineering Calculations, Engineering Drawings, MTO, specifications, Basis of Design Report, etc.
• Raise technical queries and deviations to specifications
• Vendor Data Review and Summary of Bids Approval.
• Provide CTRs (Cost, Time, and Resources)
• Manpower planning and managing

• Accountable for all related design and engineering activities of assigned project
• Lead implementation of project engineering as per the execution plan
• Ensure timely delivery within budget
• Identify and control project risks & opportunities
• Management of engineering changes
• Ensure smooth teamwork and client satisfaction
• Client interfaces e.g. day-to-day activities, weekly/monthly meetings
• Reporting e.g. weekly/monthly progress

• Issuance of specifications and material take-offs for project mechanical materials
• Follow-up with vendors and suppliers as required to ensure technical compliance with required standards
• Ensure appropriate QC and QA is applied to procured materials to verify compliance with client requirements and design intents
• Ensure internal QA/QC procedures are adhered to during the performance of design and procurement tasks
• PRNCAs resolution

• Provide technical assistance as and when required
• Resolve technical queries

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on fabrication, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), and facilities engineering.
• Proven experience in detailed engineering and design
• Experience in managing engineering projects from conception to completion, including project procurement, project management, and construction/offshore services.
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical engineering in the oil and gas sector.
• Proficient in Thai and English with excellent written, spoken, and presentation skills.
