- Collect requirements from key stakeholders including business units, innovation support, then based on requirements, write Project Proposal Brief(s) to capture the project scope and deliverables for impactful R&D projects.
- Design and conduct experiments.
- Responsible for deliverables in different phases of the project
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and objectives.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of experimental procedures, results, and conclusions.
- Evaluate scientific data, intellectual property findings, regulation requirements, and market viability.
- Effectively communicate research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Explore pet feed technology and trends, apply critical thinking, and transform these insights into a comprehensive understanding of consumer preferences, regulatory dynamics, and the competitive landscape.
- Foster valuable connections with experts, thought leaders, and peers, ensuring that our organization remains at the forefront of innovation and knowledge dissemination
- Provide mentorship and resources to empower team members.

- Education: Advanced degree in life sciences, with expertise in biotechnology, food technology, biochemistry, and micro/cell biology fundamentals. Ph.D degree preferred, but M.Sc degree acceptable for the right candidate.
- Desirable Expertise: Experience in pet and animal/aquaculture-related research topics.
- Practical Skills: Practical experience in translating new technology into real-world applications is advantageous.
- Collaboration: Experienced and comfortable working in multidisciplinary team environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong capability in experimental design and data analysis, coupled with project management experience.
- Communication: Proficiency in scientific review and effective technical communication in English (both with peers and public).
- Industry Understanding: A sound understanding of food manufacturing technologies and standards (GMP/HACCP) is a plus.
