Full-timeDivision: SEA CommercialJob Title: Country Head ThailandReporting to: Managing Director, SEA & IndiaAbout the roleAs the Country Head for Thailand you will be able to take on a diverse leadership position involving commercial development, people management, and public relations. Your main responsibilities involve the development of all brands under the luxury business division in Thailand.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlanningConceptualize and implement short term and mid-term business, marketing and growth strategies Analyse and review business, marketing, and retail strategy to continuously improve with the view on key commercial KPIs such as net revenue, operating profit, sell out and market share gain.
  • Develop customer recruitment and retention strategies (by brand, by channel, by retailer, by door)
  • Evaluate and develop creative launch, retail, and promotion campaigns for Singapore to align with the Global Marketing concept
  • Provide local expert input to formulate the retail and marketing strategy to gain local market share, drive sales and elevate the brand positioning for both Coty group and individual key brands.
  • Enhance relationship and build strategic partnership with external partners such as retailers, mall operators/owners, media, and key consumers to gain a positive reputation in the local market
  • Drive and ensure good service is delivered to customers in all points of sales
Commercial
  • Monitor and ensure that all brands do achieve and improve wholesale and retail revenue targets
  • Drive market share, category leadership and rankings for the group and focus brands
  • Create and manage sales targets by brand, by channel, by door for all Prestige Brands
  • Plan and allocate budgets
  • Responsible for achieving P & L of all brands and as a group in SG
New Business Development
  • Evaluate market and category trends with the view to optimize existing business channels and plans, develop new business strategies and go to market business models
  • Acquire new customers and encourage repeat purchase
  • Kick off of CRM data base programme to support customer recruitment, build loyalty and gain data insights.
  • Work with different media and partners to expand market share and share of voice for our brands and group
  • Explore the potential of launching new brands and/or relaunching existing brands by developing business plans and go to market strategies
Quality, Productivity and Organisational Strengths
  • Establish and improve internal work flows
  • Review and upgrade Team structures to deliver best in class execution internally and externally
  • Monitor department productivity and performances
  • Develop a good corporate culture, to attract potential employees for the company
Customers and Other External Relationships
  • Establish and maintain relationships with journalists, media, key opinion leaders and key opinion customers
  • Relation building with key business partners from different industries to identify and develop new business opportunities
People Management
  • Coach and nurture next generation local market leaders for the company
  • Charter out the career path for the team. Motivate commitment and loyalty to company
  • Evaluate and improve staff strengths/weaknesses
REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledge of the Thailand retail and consumer landscape
  • Experiences with mall and retailer negotiation
  • Far-sighted with a strong analytical and strategic mind-set to improve short and mid-term business strategies.
  • Creative and has an open mind-set to implement various business plans, marketing campaigns and events
  • Experience in budget and strategic planning (1Y, 3Y, 5Y strategy, budget and P&L constructions)
  • Good technical and product knowledge
  • Accurate in analysis, good with numbers and expert in retail excellence for both sell in/sell out
Skills:Strong leadership quality with a charismatic can-do personality
  • Connected in the TH markets (malls, media, retailers)
  • Great problem solving and Persuasive negotiation skill
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize
  • Has a sell-out mentality without neglecting net revenues, profit and ROI measures
  • Able to cope well with stress and shows resilience
  • Able to keep up with market trend as well as having good knowledge of the market trends

Education/Degree:
  • An undergraduate degree is required, preferably in business or other related discipline.
Background including total years of experience
  • +15 years of experience in channel / account management
  • Category experience: skin care, beauty, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) highly preferred,
Technical skills:
  • High proficiency in computer Skills e.g. Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook
Languages:
  • Fluent in English
