Shangri-La, Chiang MaiRight along Chang Klan Road, Shangri-La Chiang Mai is located within walking distance to the city's most iconic sites and the famous Night Bazaar. The hotel consists of 277 luxurious rooms and suites blending distinctive Northern Thai décor with comfortable and contemporary designs. Accommodations range in size, from 43 to 215 square meters. The 3 executive floors share 61 guestrooms, including 2 Specialty Suites, and Presidential Suite and the Horizon Lounge located at the 11th floor.Executive ChefWe are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual, whose love for food encouraged him/her to become a chef and whose relentless pursuit for excellence made him/her a successful Executive Chef. This enthusiastic leader will not shy from rolling his sleeves and inspire his team members to create new dishes, experience new techniques, introduce new presentations, explore new flavors. Through his/her empathic and genuinely kind-hearted attitude he/she will lay the foundations for a healthy work environment where everyone will feel valued, looked after and given an opportunity to grow. He/she will ensure his/her team members will share the same passion and love for the job, because they are quality driven and will not accept anything below excellent. He/she will not compromise on food safety.Roles & Responsibilities
  • In charge of the wole culinary department
  • Leads the culinary team and ensure operational efficiency, driving quality standards, whilst ensuring a high level of staff engagement
  • Creates and develops creative menus and recipes
  • Builds collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure the best prices and quality are achieved when purchasing food
  • Maintains the highest food quality and sanitation standards
  • Ensures the ultimate guest experience in the hotel
  • Drives high standards of food preparation in order to increase profitability of the hotel
  • Enforces the implementation of food safety programs throughout the entire division
