Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Office ResponsibilitiesReview technical project documentation at contract award to identify discrepancies and highlight deficiencies in tender method statements.Plan, assign, and monitor resources to ensure engineering deliverables are met according to project schedules.Lead the preparation, development, and review of installation documentation, including procedures, drawings, sketches, and scopes of work.Ensure technical accuracy and compliance of procurement, fabrication, and installation documents with contract requirements.Coordinate with cross-functional project teams and support procurement/subcontracting processes to ensure outsourcing to competent suppliers.Review engineering data for bidding proposals and provide technical presentations during risk assessments and third-party reviews.Mentor and train junior engineers and graduates as needed.Offshore/Onshore ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee offshore/onshore construction and installation activities, ensuring personnel understand project requirements and safety standards.Ensure compliance of all construction, inspection, and installation activities with contract and technical specifications.Act as the focal point for technical queries and issue resolution during offshore/onshore execution.Manage offshore/onshore construction schedules in coordination with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, OCM, OCS, Barge Superintendent, and client representatives.Monitor progress, report technical variations, and maintain “as-built” documentation packages.Support dive operations by coordinating and reviewing Dive Plans with the Dive Supervisor.Ensure timely delivery, deployment, and return of project equipmentQualifications & ExperienceMinimum 5 years as a Field Engineer and 1 year as Lead Field Engineer.Project experience in T&I, EPCIC, and offshore transportation & installation projects.Proficient in offshore engineering software: MOSES, SACS, Orcaflex, StaadPro, OFFPIPE, ANSYS, AutoCAD.Knowledgeable in engineering codes: ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, DNV, Noble Denton-GLM.Familiarity with client technical specifications and project documentation.Strong technical, IT, and software skills (MS Word, Excel, Project).Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.Capable of reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, preparing scopes of work, and managing subcontractors, materials, and equipment.Competent in offshore rigging calculations, installation planning, and engineering verifications.Ability to produce installation sketches, barge layouts, anchor patterns, and post-job analysis reports.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills within contractual limits.Personal traits: mature, proactive, self-starter, analytical, collaborative, able to work under pressure and long/irregular hours onshore/offshore.
