This is a Pricing Specialist, APAC&MEA role. The objective of Pricing Specialist role is to support pricing processes and frameworks that result in impact to revenue and profitability growth in APAC in omni-channel business environment. You will be supporting daily and operational tasks as well as strategic projects around pricing. You will collaborate closely with the Sales, IT, Country Management, Product Lines as well as finance team. You will be expected to act with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.What you'll do:
- Manage all aspects of the price waterfall from list price to discounting and rebate framework in B2B, B2C, B2B2C environments, together with country teams.
- Drive implementation of strategic & tactical pricing projects: Value-Based Pricing, omni-channel pricing framework, price positioning & segmentation (customer, channel, and products), competitive price analysis, price scraping, etc.
- Ability to build advance pricing models and simulations using MS Excel and/or PowerBI to support business decision.
- Track and analyze KPIs to measure the success of pricing initiatives. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting performance trends, and market insights. Implement regular cadence to identify potential pricing leakages, cost-revisions and opportunities.
- Lead and direct the development and improvement of pricing tools in collaboration with IT.
- Actively participate and contribute to pricing governance processes. Ensure compliance across countries and functions.
- Act as a partner to teams in countries by providing pricing expertise and training.
- Contribute to the improvement of data quality, integrity and completeness.
- Strong ability to understand, calculate and persuasively present pricing techniques and analytics.
- Well-developed understanding of pricing management concepts (f.e. PMV, Price Waterfall, value based pricing) with proven ability to logically assess risks, benefits, and alternatives.
- Previous experience in project and stakeholder management. Experience in leading IT project is a plus.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, written and verbal. Experience presenting complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in pricing, e-commerce, finance, or marketing.
- Higher Degree in Economics, Business management, Finance or similar.
- Experience in working with large/complex datasets and working experience in one or several BI systems (SAP BI, CognosBI, PowerBI).
- Pragmatic business approach, quick learner and are highly adaptable to change. You have a strong ability to work with details but can also see the big picture.
