As Procurement Category Manager, you will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for Logistics and Professional Services across APAC. You will collaborate with procurement operations, centers of excellence, and regional/global stakeholders to ensure supply continuity, compliance, and value creation. This role will be central in driving supplier management, governance, and innovation while optimizing cost efficiency and mitigating risks.What you will do :Develop and implement regional category strategies for Logistics and Professional Services across APAC, aligned with global frameworksExecute strategic sourcing methodologies to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) and drive valueLead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract development in collaboration with stakeholders and LegalManage supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and ensure quality, delivery, and compliance standardsEstablish governance frameworks for procurement activities and ensure compliance with corporate policiesMonitor spend data, supplier performance, and market trends to identify savings, improvements, and risk mitigation opportunitiesChampion innovation and process improvements through e-sourcing tools, analytics, and digital platformsDrive stakeholder engagement and support change management initiatives for scalability in a growth environmentWhat you will bring :Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Management, Logistics, or related field7–10 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in category management (Logistics and Professional Services)Proven experience supporting multiple plants across APAC (Thailand, China, Malaysia, India, Japan, Australia)Deep knowledge of APAC supplier markets and local dynamicsExpertise in strategic sourcing, negotiations, RFP management, contracting, and supplier lifecycle managementStrong financial acumen including cost modeling and forecastingProficient in procurement platforms (e-RFx, e-auction), spend analytics, Power BI, and Microsoft ExcelFluent in English (spoken and written)Who you are :Skilled in managing 3PL suppliers, warehouse integration, and transportation cost optimizationStrong project management and business process improvement capabilitiesCollaborative and influential with strong stakeholder engagement skillsGlobally minded, adaptable, and able to work across culturesEntrepreneurial, decisive, and proactive in driving change and impactWhy Join Ingredion?
