Assistant Production Manager - Food packaging (Biodegradable)

• Manage and control production planning, manpower allocation, production workflows, and product quality to meet operational targets.
• Monitor daily production efficiency, scrap rates, and related KPIs, and provide regular performance summaries to the Operations Manager.
• Support, train, and onboard new employees in collaboration with supervisors and engineers.
• Coordinate with the QA team and production personnel to address and resolve daily product quality issues.
• Oversee the usage of virgin and regrind materials in cooperation with materials supervisors to optimize cost and minimize waste.
• Participate in the startup of new products and ensure readiness of production lines.
• Develop employee competencies in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Support internal and external audits and contribute to establishing new production standards across departments.
• Prepare monthly reports including production efficiency, scrap rates, machine performance, and mold breakdowns for submission to the Operations Manager.
• Contribute to projects related to production process improvement as assigned by the Operations Manager.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing, with strong exposure to production and planning for finished goods; experience in plastic manufacturing or food packaging is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to coach, guide, and motivate team members.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in both English and Thai.
