- Promote and sell FLMC business offerings, including products, solutions, and services in the Combustion and Industrial segment.
- Visit existing and potential customers including but not limited to Distributors, OEMs, EPCs, stockists and end users regularly to promote assigned product lines.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to sell assigned products and services to customers in various industries. Maintain and update a project opportunity list using designated tools.
- Learn new products and technologies and discuss them with customers. Assess customer requirements, pain-points and suggest appropriate technical solutions.
- Negotiate relevant business opportunities and contracts within the specified delegation of authority, including pricing, discounts, and volume structures.
- Collaborate with the Business Development and Sales Support Organizations to develop and execute sales and growth strategies that can be implemented in the respective sales regions, industry or customers. Participate in customer development activities such as trade shows and conferences to promote products and services.
- Ensure execution of committed contractual terms to customers and drive customer satisfaction by understanding and addressing their needs.
- Provide regular reports to supervisors on market trends, competition strategies, and customer behaviors affecting business strategies.
- Ensure efficient follow-up of quotes and all sales activities, maintain and develop an opportunity pipeline that supports your business.
- Cultivate strong relationships and collaborate with Emerson platform and Business Units on cross platform and industry initiatives.
- Engage in project pursuit activities for early project involvement and collaborate with other partners.
- Uphold Emerson's values; business ethics and promote a customer-centric culture.
- Ensure compliance with company trade compliance procedures and advance any concerns.
- You set aggressive goals and have high standards, are persistent in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles, push self to achieve results. You also build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions, serve as a strategic partner to build, grow and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. You work collaboratively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.
- 3-5 years in industrial sales, with a proven track record in technical sales or business development.
- Strong understanding of specific industry products for example valves, power, automation.
- Proficiency in Thai (native) and English (professional working proficiency) is generally required.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory (Northeastern Thailand) and Central/Eastern Thailand
