Supply Chain Director - Semiconductor

• Overseeing day-to-day operations with contract manufacturers in Thailand, ensuring alignment on finished goods and raw materials.
• Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks.
• Managing engineering change orders (ECO) and their impact on inventory and deliveries.
• Monitoring work-in-progress (WIP) and inventory to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Supporting Southeast Asia suppliers, expediting critical deliveries, and overseeing supplier improvement projects.
• Leading sourcing activities for thermal components and negotiating with Asia-based suppliers.
• Issuing and managing supplier corrective action requests (SCARs).
• Driving cost-saving initiatives and facilitating quarterly business reviews with contract manufacturers and key suppliers.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement supply chain improvement initiatives.
• Supporting ISO initiatives through continuous improvement, risk-based thinking, and auditing.

• Solid understanding of the semiconductor processes.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in managing contract manufacturers, global sourcing, and supplier management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong results orientation, attention to detail, and process-driven mindset.
• Exceptional supplier relationship management and cross-functional communication skills.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean organisation.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
• Experience in capacity and scalability strategy, cost structure and margin protection, and risk management.

• Collaborating with contract manufacturers to ensure seamless operations and alignment on production goals.
• Monitoring and managing inventory levels, supply chain risks, and engineering change orders.
• Engaging with suppliers across Southeast Asia to expedite deliveries, negotiate terms, and oversee improvement projects.
• Leading cost-saving initiatives and ensuring accurate cost tracking for bills of materials (BOM).
• Supporting factory expansion projects and strategic initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
