Legal Counsel

• Develop and implement data protection and privacy policies to ensure compliance with the applicable data privacy laws and regulations
• Provide legal advice in terms of data privacy laws and regulations to support new product launches and initiatives
• Conduct privacy impact assessments to embed privacy requirements into business processes and operations
• Analyze non-compliance loopholes in terms of data privacy laws and regulations in business practices and provide guidance to mitigate risks and close the gaps
• Execute data mapping, access management and data sharing policies
• Design and conduct appropriate training and awareness activities to secure policy adherence and awareness
• Review an agreement and identified proactive solutions to eliminate or mitigate risks by revising the obligations in such agreement before entering into any business transactions
• Ensure that business activities are conducted in conformity with all applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures
• Monitor internal processes and business operations to be in compliance with ISO 27001, 27701, and related applicable laws in Thailand

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law
• 1-3 years proven experience at a law firm and/or work experience as an in-house lawyer involving in privacy and data protection related projects
• Good knowledge in PDPA in Thailand
• Highly analytical with a strong attention to details and a pragmatic approach
• Able to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements
• Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking environment
• Eager to learn, open-minded and dynamic
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
