- Conceptualise and implement global brand strategy for Minor Hotels, Anantara Hotels & Resorts, The Wolseley Hotels, Minor Reserve Collection, Avani Hotels & Resorts and non-hotel brands in the luxury segment.
- Define and deliver strategic plans to strengthen brand positioning, differentiation and global awareness.
- Oversee the evolution of brand DNA, visual identities and creative direction to ensure continued relevance and distinction.
- Establish brand governance frameworks and standards to ensure consistency across all marketing, communications, content and digital touchpoints.
- Provide strategic direction to marketing communications, creative and internal teams on the development and implementation of brand initiatives and campaigns.
- Advise on artistic and creative vision of existing and new brands, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.
- Drive the execution of the scope of work for internal/external creative partners, directing, managing and overseeing projects to ensure high quality delivery.
- Partner with Operations Teams to ensure brand standards translate into meaningful guest experiences aligned with brand positioning.
- Oversee the development and application of brand and corporate collateral to ensure quality, consistency and alignment with brand standards.
- Direct brand storytelling frameworks across brands and collections.
- Provide strategic leadership to regional marketing teams to ensure consistent brand alignment across all hotels and resorts.
- Guide regional teams in the execution of pre-opening marketing strategies, ensuring new properties launch fully on brand.
- Oversee brand standards for hotel marketing materials, enabling regional teams to guide property-level execution.
- Provide brand oversight for property photo and video production, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and final asset approval.
- Guide regional teams through hotel marketing planning and budgeting processes to ensure strong strategic support to properties.
- Work closely with regional teams to maintain global alignment across brand and marketing initiatives.
- Be aware of changing trends within the industry and provide recommendations to react and / or counteract these changes.
- Experience in leading, developing and motivating a team.
- Experience developing brand concepts, campaigns and creative without the reliance on external agencies.
- Experience identifying, directing and managing relationships with creative and external agencies if relevant.
- Ability to set the strategic direction for brand and marketing activities across multiple brands, with clear tactics and measurements to achieve business objectives.
- Experience in planning and managing departmental budgets.
- In-depth analytical skills, strong strategic thinking abilities, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong creative thinking abilities.
- Very strong command of the English language (verbal and written).
- Advanced computer literacy and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office and a solid knowledge of design.
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative or equivalent required. Masters a plus.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years in brand management and / or marketing positions inclusive of managing the marketing function.
- Experience in hotel or luxury related field would be an added benefit.
- Experience with a creative agency.
