- Expand and maintain the customer base by guiding field sales representatives, fostering relationships with key customers, and identifying new opportunities.
- Achieving regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, creating annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and taking corrective actions.
- Execute trade promotions by overseeing publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
- Explore opportunities to grow business in new markets and stay updated on industry trends and technical advancements within target markets.
- Recommend product lines by identifying new opportunities, assessing product, packaging, and service changes, surveying consumer needs and trends, and monitoring competitors.
- Conduct regular sales calls to pursue opportunities, provide training and technical support, and increase market share.
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing initiatives and personal efforts.
- Continuously update job knowledge through educational opportunities, professional publications, and networking.
- Develop and maintain short-, mid, and long-term sales plans and communicate high-value sales activities for effective product and service planning.
- Provide exceptional customer service for all clients and prospects.
- Review, prepare, and complete action plans, implement standards, resolve issues, conduct audits, identify trends, and implement regional sales system improvements.
- Establish sales objectives by creating sales and territory-wise plans, as well as distributor-wise sales plans. Provide input and recommendations for strategic plans and policies.
- Prepare visit reports, call reports, monthly reports, and fulfill other administrative requirements.
- Minimum of 15 years of work experience with a minimum of 8 years in progressive sales roles and 8-10 years in leadership positions or equivalent industry knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field. Additional qualifications in sales or business administration are advantageous.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
- Thorough understanding of rubber products and the industry, particularly in the Thailand market.
- Familiarity with MRO business and experience with CRM systems preferred.
- Experience in driving sales for automotive aftermarket products is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple resources and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
