Manufacturing Engineering Manager

• Lead manufacturing strategy, footprint optimization and all new program launches for all Thailand plants.

• Execute all Thailand programs as per company standards while following the standard Manufacturing Engineering deliverables, to ensure flawless launches.

• Design and implement competitive, efficiency and safe manufacturing processes able to deliver the highest standards to our customers.

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering reviews of program deliverables to ensure consistent application and execution of standards.

• Schedule reviews with the management/Regional Manufacturing Engineering for all key programs and prepare present manufacturing sign offs to leadership as required by the product launch system.

• Support commercial team during review & approve CAPEX investment for all new quotes. Prepare quote packages.

• Update of each footprint and study suitable footprint and value steam flow for improve competitiveness.

• Support business growth providing solutions on footprint and CAPEX needs.

• Support and work with Continuous Improvement team on manufacturing practices and improvements to drive operational excellence and waste elimination.

• Build and develop a strong Successor and IDP for subordinate and drive people engagement.

• Graduated Bachelor/Master's degree major in Engineering field (Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering).

• Minimum 10 years of industry experience from automotive business, prefer experience both in metal and plastic Production technology required. Robotic/machine cycle time calculation, line cycle time balancing and vision systems skills considered a plus.

• Good in Product Design and Development Specifications, Assembly Process Development, Layout Development and Footprint.

• Experience in Plant Layout design, Program Management knowledge as related to successful management of capital budget and plant installations, Planning and Greenfield/Brownfield Development experience.

• Equipment and Machine Technical Specifications and Standards.

• Knowledge of line balance method, manufacturing process such as Injection and relate processing technology.

• Knowledge of Shop Floor Control Systems and quality system, value stream mapping and roll throughput yield.

• Proven technical leadership skills and ability to develop tactical plans to accomplish strategic objectives.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills - ability to work in a matrix organization and effectively lead without direct positional authority is required.

• Strong communication, presentation and teamwork skills including the ability to write clear, concise technical documentation.

• Ability to travel (Globally) to support product launches and technical problem solving.

• Proficient in both in English and Thai.

• Proficient in Office application software, words, Power Point, excels, Visio.
