Job DescriptionOur client is a leading global provider of Medical Devices. This company is comprised of professionals who are passionate about their role in bringing their devices to their customers.The Service Engineer Team Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring a team of Service Engineers fulfils efficient operation and maintenance of technical equipment or systems.Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Sales department by aiding in the installation and commissioning processes, as well as providing support during the warranty period.
  • Participating in local and regional exhibitions and seminars.
  • Delivering field service support by performing repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance.
  • Planning daily work schedules using a calendar and promptly updating any changes.
  • Conducting customer surveys (Net Promoter Score - NPS) as outlined in the company's guidelines and follow up as necessary.
  • Creating draft calibration reports after each calibration job and submit them to the Administrator or Service Manager for review and verification.
  • Preparing quotations for approval based on local standard charges and price lists.
  • Assisting the administrator in requisitioning spare parts by providing the part/order numbers and supplier details.
  • Maintaining operational procedures, checklists, records, and other documentation as specified by the Service Manager.
  • Assisting the Administrator in monitoring and planning visits for contract servicing.
  • Supporting after-sales personnel in configuring hardware and software related to upgrade and retrofit sales.
  • Providing effective follow-up support to address customer issues and ensure satisfaction and customer retention.
  • Escalating unresolved or pending issues to the Service Supervisor while on the job.
  • Collaborating closely with other departments, such as Logistics and Finance, to facilitate the completion of the sales process.
  • Proactively updating product and technical knowledge by attending training seminars organized by the division or company.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic / Biomedical / Mechanical Engineering or related.
  • 2 -3 years of Managing experience in the medical equipment or related industry in a technical service role.
  • Excellent IT Knowledge in computer hardware, operating systems, and disk backup software, especially with networking is a must.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair PCs.
  • Fluent in English.
