Nimspace, Chiang MaiAlloy Wheels Direct (www.alloywheelsdirect.net) is an established international e-commerce company with 23 years in business. We sell high-end OEM wheels and imported wheel parts to customers worldwide, managing extensive product catalogues and large volumes of data.We are looking for a Senior Laravel Developer to take full ownership of our e-commerce platform and backend systems from our office at Nimspace in Chiang Mai.This is not a ticket-queue role. You will be the sole developer, working directly with the business owner. You will make architectural decisions, own the full stack, and see your work used by international customers every day.What You Will Do:
- Develop and maintain web applications with Laravel (PHP) from design to deployment
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for our product catalogue, inventory, and internal systems
- Frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, AJAX, and Blade Templates
- Build product management features: wheel model, size, PCD, colour, price, stock levels, and images
- Write clean, maintainable, PSR-standard code
- Use Git/GitHub for version control - branching, pull requests, and code review
- Collaborate on UX/UI to deliver user-friendly interfaces
- Debug issues, optimise performance, and maintain system stability
- Manage our Linux/Ubuntu server: SSH, file permissions, logs, SSL certificates, and deployment
- Use AI tools including Claude Code to accelerate development and improve processesWhat We Are Looking For:Essential:
- Senior-level Laravel/PHP experience - 3-5+ years building production applications
- Strong understanding of OOP and MVC architecture
- Proficient in MySQL / MariaDB - database design, queries, and optimisation
- Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and AJAX
- Solid Git/GitHub workflow - you use branches, pull requests, and code review as standard practice
- Linux/Ubuntu server administration: SSH, permissions, log analysis, SSL, deployment
- Fluent English - written and spoken. You will work directly with an English-speaking business owner and serve international customers. This is a core requirement
- Educated in English - graduated from an English Programme (EP), international school, international university programme, or studied abroad
- Western communication style - you are direct, clear, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative
- Independent problem solver - you research, figure things out, and take action without being told every stepNice to Have:
- Experience building or working on e-commerce platforms
- Interest in cars, wheels, or motorsport
- Experience with AI-assisted development toolsWhat We Offer:
- Salary: 30,000-35,000 THB/month depending on your skills and experience
- Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00-18:00
- Location: Private office at Nimspace coworking space, Chiang Mai
