Job Title: Asst. Production ManagerIndustry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Department: Production
Reports to: Production ManagerJob SummaryThe Production Section Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, product quality, and regulatory compliance are achieved. This role ensures that all production activities comply with GMP standards, while optimizing productivity, cost efficiency, and team performance.Key Responsibilities

Supervise and control overall manufacturing processes to ensure full compliance with GMP and company policies.
Manage production performance including quality, cost, yield, and manpower utilization.
Monitor daily production operations and report performance, issues, and improvements to the Production Manager.
Ensure machines, equipment, and production areas are properly prepared, maintained, and compliant with GMP standards.
Oversee cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Prepare production areas, documentation, machines, and facilities to support internal and external audits.
Lead and supervise production team including supervisors and operators to follow SOPs and production procedures.
Train, coach, and develop production staff according to job requirements and operational standards.
Coordinate closely with Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Supply Chain, Engineering & Maintenance, and EHS to ensure smooth operations.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance.

Perform other tasks assigned by the Production Manager.Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Pharmacy, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5–8 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 2–3 years in supervisory or management level.
Strong knowledge of GMP, pharmaceutical production processes, and regulatory requirements.
